Our services

Everything below happens inside our assisted living residence. It is not a menu to choose from, it is what the day is made of.

Two senior residents sitting together during personalised assisted living care

Personalised assisted living care

Help with the things that have become hard: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and moving safely about the house. How much help, and when, is agreed with each resident and their family, and revised as that changes.

  • Bathing and toileting
  • Grooming and hygiene
  • Personal care
  • Medication reminders
  • Safety supervision
  • Transitions of care

Elderly nutrition

Meals cooked fresh each day, with dietary needs, allergies and preferences taken into account. Eating together is part of the day rather than a task to be got through.

  • Meal preparation
  • Special diets
  • Help with hydration
  • Company at mealtimes

Residential care

A room of their own in a house where staff are on site day and night, with company, something to do, and somebody who notices when a person is not themselves.

  • 24/7 care
  • Companionship
  • Daily activities
  • Family respite
  • Memory screening

Getting where they need to be

Appointments, family occasions and errands are arranged by us, with someone to go along when that helps. Losing the car should not mean losing the life that went with it, and a relative two hours away should not have to take a day off to get someone to a check-up.

  • Transport to appointments
  • Family occasions
  • Company on the journey
  • Social outings

Mental health and wellbeing

Low mood and isolation are treated as part of someone's health, not a phase to be waited out. Caregivers who see a person every day are the ones who notice when something has changed, and we plan wellbeing into the week rather than hoping it looks after itself.

  • Emotional support
  • Company through the day
  • Watching for changes
  • Keeping families informed

How to start

Step 1

Consultation

We talk through what is happening and whether this is the right place.

Step 2

Assessment

We meet the person, in their own home or ours, and go through needs in detail.

Step 3

Moving in

We agree a date, and help with settling into the rhythm of the house.
